Broid Urano provides custom desktop organization solutions, including but not limited to:
- Custom desktop organizers and storage solutions
- Monitor stands and device supports
- Bespoke workspace organization products
- Design consultation services
- Installation and delivery services
All products are handcrafted in our Toronto workshop using premium materials and traditional craftsmanship techniques.
3. Ordering and Payment
Order Process
The ordering process typically includes:
- Initial consultation and needs assessment
- Design proposal and quote preparation
- Quote approval and deposit payment
- Production and crafting phase
- Quality inspection and final payment
- Delivery and installation (if applicable)
Pricing and Payment Terms
- All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified
- Custom orders require a 50% deposit upon order confirmation
- Final payment is due before shipment or delivery
- We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and certified cheques
- All transactions are processed securely through approved payment processors
Quote Validity
Written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices may be subject to change due to material cost fluctuations or design modifications requested by the customer.
4. Custom Orders and Design Process
Design Consultation
Our design process includes initial consultation, measurements, material selection, and design approval. Changes to approved designs may result in additional costs and extended delivery times.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate measurements and specifications
- Timely approval of designs and material selections
- Ensuring accessibility for delivery and installation
- Communicating any special requirements or constraints
Production Timeline
Standard production times range from 2-4 weeks depending on project complexity. Rush orders may be accommodated for an additional fee, subject to workshop availability.
5. Delivery and Installation
Delivery
- We offer delivery services within the Greater Toronto Area
- Shipping is available across Canada through our logistics partners
- Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be affected by weather, traffic, or other circumstances beyond our control
- Customer must be available to receive delivery at the scheduled time
Installation Services
Professional installation is available for an additional fee. Installation includes setup, adjustment, and basic instruction on product use and care.
Risk of Loss
Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon delivery. We recommend inspecting all items upon receipt and reporting any damage within 48 hours.
6. Returns and Cancellations
Custom Order Cancellations
Due to the custom nature of our products:
- Orders may be cancelled before production begins with forfeiture of deposit
- Orders cannot be cancelled once production has commenced
- Design changes after production begins may incur additional costs
Returns
Custom products are non-returnable except in cases of:
- Manufacturing defects
- Damage during shipping
- Failure to meet agreed specifications
Return requests must be made within 7 days of delivery with photographic documentation of any issues.
7. Warranty and Quality Assurance
Craftsmanship Warranty
We provide a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty covers:
- Structural integrity of joints and connections
- Finish quality and adhesion
- Hardware functionality
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from misuse or abuse
- Damage from exposure to excessive moisture or heat
- Modifications made by the customer or third parties
- Damage during customer transportation or moving
Warranty Claims
Warranty claims must be submitted in writing with photographs documenting the issue. We will repair or replace defective items at our discretion.
8. Intellectual Property
Design Rights
All custom designs created by Broid Urano remain our intellectual property. Customers receive the right to use the physical product but not to reproduce, modify, or create derivative works based on our designs.
Customer Materials
Any materials, ideas, or specifications provided by customers remain their property. We will not use customer-provided designs for other projects without explicit written consent.
Website Content
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is protected by copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific product or service
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control
- Customers assume responsibility for proper use and maintenance of products
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
10. Website Use and Acceptable Conduct
Permitted Use
You may use our website for lawful purposes related to learning about and purchasing our products and services.
Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
